Shinkansen

The best, most popular and most famous way to see Japan is by Shinkansen (bullet train), and we set out to see Japan, outside of Tokyo, on the Tokaido and Sanyo lines following this path: Tokyo->KyotoHiroshima->Kyoto->Odawara->Tokyo. Traveling at speeds up to 150 mph they’re fast, fun and almost always on time…to the nearest second (no joke).
