Hong Kong's Tallest
Two IFC Tower, the tallest building in Hong Kong (and 7th in the world.) The building has 88 floors, which is an extremely lucky number in Cantonese. (Though it actually has 86 floors, lacking floors ‘14′ and ‘24′ which, in Cantonese are close to "easy to die" and "definitly die" in Cantonese, respectively. (’4′ is an unlucky number in Chinese because it is so close to the word for "death") This photo was taken from the old Star Ferry Pier on one of its last nights in operation.
