Willy Wonka Sidewalks

The Portuguese influence is everywhere in Macau, China. You’ll note the Willy Wonka-style sidewalks, which (I am told) were built by local residents with tax dollars left in the coffers in 1999, right before Macau was given back to China, because they feared otherwise the money would be taking by the Beijing Government.
