Right Now: I’m Learning The Haka
Learning to perform the Haka, a traditional dance form of the Maori people of New Zealand—made most famous by the New Zealand All Blacks Rugby Team. Rotorua, New Zealand.
Extra special THANKS to Haka World and Stay and Play Rotorua for the opportunity to learn. I’d recommend the experience to anyone visiting Rotorua wishing to dig a bit deeper into Maori and New Zealand culture.

Sean-Yeah the Haka was great, when you learned, was it with Haka World? The Agrodome was cool, in a weird sort of touristy way—and I imagine as a tourist from a non-farm place, it would be as cool as we find going into a Chinese temple. I didn’t get into the Zorb sadly, but did the flying wind tunnel thing where they toss you on top of a jet engine and you float. Rotorua is a great town, I came for 3 days and ended up staying there for 2 weeks. Kia ora man.
