Quintessentially, Japan
I’ve spent most of my posts on Japan talking about how the country broke out of all stereotypes I had for it—from my post on the whacked out fashion of the “5-year-old girls jacked up on liquor and goofballs” in Harajuku to the 5.5 million vending machines, you might think we’ve got all our stereotypes wrong.
So, for my final post on Japan I’ll share a small photo gallery of more “traditional” Japan, probably a bit more of what you (and I) expected. Take a look at these photos from my bullet train ride across the country, and then say “sayounara” to Japan, cause I’m headed back to Hong Kong, China for my next post.
